3S es un projecto de David Richiuso (su pagina web: www.defact.com) de Luxemburgo. Lo encontré durante “Designmai” en Berlin y vale la pena presentarlo.

An arc of circle is the pure and minimal line, which defines the chair 3S…. This single line is spread to give form to the seat, which wants to be primarily resting. Its duplicated “back” swiveling on a hinge makes it possible to give to this long chair 3 positions, one horizontal for a total rest, the other high for a voluntary dawdling and to finish a quasi sitted position to benefit from the horizon. This multitude of possibilities offers to 3S a panel of uses while keeping a light, sober and pure esthetics. Various wood turpentines comes to equip discreetly this long chair usable as well outside as inside. By its simple form it allows to pile up several chairs and thus facilitates the storage of a garden furniture often cumbersome.
