In a world where individualism replaced collectivism, we need new ways to fulfill our need for togetherness or privacy. The rescue dress (Ann De Gersem) gives its wearer the possibility to instantly create a personal space, in which she can seclude herself from the chaotic surroundings. Audio graffiti (Lard Breebaart) encourages communication with total strangers. Visitors are invited to post their personal audio messages. Carhood (Lieke Ypma) encourages communication with other cardrivers. In an Arrangement of two cars, visitors can experience a neighborhood, when talking to eachother from car to car through the carhood system.
